Scranton, PA: Cage Fight 6 - "Fight for the Cure" proved to be another great event for MMA fans in Northeast Pennsylvania. With his only fight so far to go into the second round, Jimy "The Kid" Hettes defeated George Sheppard at 3:05 by rear naked choke. for the main event. Prior to that, James Cianci, in his first pro fight defeated Terrel Hobbs via guillotine choke in the first round. Hettes remains unbeaten with a 7-0 winning streak as well as Cianci who stayed unbeaten as an amateur.
Some of the amateur hightlights were Martin Wojnarowski winning by TKO against Anthony Serrano, Steve Wilson wrapping a quick first round guillotine choke, Josh Blockus with a round 2 TKO against Michael Sothern, and Alicia Haag locking an armbar on Jessalee Kline in round 3.
